Yes. User data is stored in a secure database, owned and monitored by a reputable, accredited Data House, who is fully compliant with South African regulations.

How do I become a TTP Agent?

It’s easy – just register on the site

Can commissions be paid to more than one TTP Agent?

No. Commission is automatically paid to a single Agent promo code selected by the Buyer / Seller.

What’s the difference between bulk order queries & bulk order purchases?

Bulk order query offers require additional information and procedures, hence the need to send a request to My Trading Place. Bulk order purchases can be purchased immediately via the site.

How much do I pay The Trading Place to advertise / market my product on this site?

Advertising / marketing products is free. However all requests to marketing / advertise shall be vetted and only approved product shall be published on My Trading Place site.

How do I cancel my registration?

Simply request the cancellation or go to your profile to cancel

Can I advertise on the site if I am not the end Seller / Manufacturer / Producer of the product?

No. My Trading Place is NOT a multi-layer marketing site.

How long does the vetting process take?

Verification shall be conducted on all offers – lead time shall differ and depend on the type of product on offer

 

Are there additional costs to purchasing online?

The final cart check-out amount is what My Trading Place will deduct from your bank account.  Normal bank charges apply as per your Bank T&C’s

Can I collect my purchased items?

Bulk order purchases shall be delivered to the Buyer.  Bulk order query purchases shall be fulfilled as per the transaction contract T&C’s

Will I still earn commission if the Seller / Buyer do not select my agent promo code?

No. The onus is on the TTP Agent to ensure his / her Seller / Buyer selects the correct promo code when registering

What commissions can I earn as a TTP Agent?

TTP Agents can earn up to 2% on sales of product from a referred Seller and/or Buyer.

How are commissions calculated?

The TTP Agent shall earn a maximum of 1% of the total sale of the product should the Agent have referred the Seller – and where the Seller indicates the TTP Agent code for that transaction.

The TTP Agent shall earn a maximum of 1% of the total sale of that product should the Agent have referred the Buyer – and where the Buyer indicates the TTP Agent code for that transaction.

Can the Buyer / Seller change the TTP Agent promo code?

Yes, at the Buyer / Seller discretion. This change shall be automatically implemented. Any and all queries / disputes between original TTP Agent and Buyer / Seller must be dealt with between these parties and shall not involve The Trading Place in any way shape or form.

Can a TTP Agent make a purchase on behalf of a Buyer?

The Trading Place does not have the authorisation to permit / deny a TTP Agent from acting on behalf of its Buyer / Seller – however any and all disputes / legal ramifications thereof shall be settled independently by the Seller / Buyer and the Agent as The Trading Place is not involved in such decisions in any way shape or form.  The Trading Place is obligated and shall comply with any legal requests to provide information to the Buyer / Seller from the site.
