The Trading Place is dedicated to sourcing and providing valuable, cost effective, high quality locally produced produce, consumables and goods. We work collaboratively with farmers, growers, producers, manufacturers, suppliers and home entrepreneurs to forge long-lasting partnerships that benefit everyone, and forging long-term relationships with all levels of our communities.

We embrace fair-trade principles (often the difference between surviving and thriving). These practices create viable economic opportunities that enable producers to remain in their communities, retain ownership of their lands and businesses whilst helping economically disadvantaged small producers, entrepreneurs, communities to ultimately thrive. Fair-trade prices ensure buyers purchase ethically sourced and best value-for money goods.

We strive for the highest level of quality, always looking for and investing in new, innovative ideas to increase quality and efficient supply. All products and goods produced, stored and transported are done in accordance with strict adherence to South Africa's Rules and Regulations. Relevant certification is provided for bulk produce.
